Speakers will be including prominent practitioners in the field of typography, type design and research; George Matthiopoulos, Dimitris Arvanitis, Panayotis Haratzopoulos, Eirini Vlachou, Michail Semoglou, Alexis Zavras, Giannis Karlopoulos. Topics to be addressed include: the history of Greek typography, the importance of typeface selection in a typographic composition, designing a Greek typeface based on a brief, digital typeface encoding, typographic design, typographic aesthetics in magazine and newspaper design.
